Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on the idea that what we think determines how we feel and how we behave. Together we will focus on challenging and changing unhelpful thinking patterns and develop healthy ways to cope with difficulty.
Insight Therapy
Insight Therapy (Talk Therapy) is used to provide a safe and supportive space to explore your circumstance, to learn more about yourself, and identify areas of change and healing. We will explore emotions, identify patterns of thought and habit, and reflect on how stressors are affecting your life and work towards developing strategies and solutions to improve your satisfaction with life.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a 12 session treatment that has been effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD. It is typically delivered over 6 or 12 weeks. This therapy helps individuals identify the narrative they are holding about the trauma they experienced and ultimately learn how to challenge and modify unhelpful beliefs related to the trauma. In addition to learning how to challenge your negative thoughts, we will explore how your trauma has affected your sense of safety, control, trust, esteem, and intimacy.
